The Importance of Communication

Helen Keller, both blind and deaf, noted that “Blindness cuts people off from things. Deafness cuts people off from people.”

Helen was the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelors of arts degree.  She was an American author, political activist and a lecturer; her ability to communicate allowed her to blossom.
